Welcome to MCAF

he Mauritius Cooperative Agricultural Federation Ltd (MCAF Ltd) was registered as a secondary Co-operative Society in August 1950. It was founded to act as the spokesman of small sugar cane planters who were facing a lot of problems, which they could not solve or discuss neither individually nor at a level of primary societies, that is, Cooperative Credit Societies.

The Mauritius Cooperative Agricultural Federation Ltd (MCAF Ltd) was registered as a secondary Co-operative Society in August 1950.

The Board

The MCAF acts as the mouthpiece of the planting community grouped in co-operatives and therefore is represented on the boards and committees of several institutions which are closely associated with the sugar industry.
